    Driveway, block paving

    Excellent communication from start to finish. Jake and George the two workers on our job were skilled, hard working and always considerate. The whole experience was a pleasure. There were extras to pay over and above the quoted price but we knew beforehand that that was likely. We would recommend this company if you want quality workmanship.

    1st class makeover

    Our rear garden had been neglected for some years and moving in recently, what had been someone’s pride and joy was now a nightmare. Richard and his team transformed it into a useable space, level lawn and porcelain patio, which looks fantastic. George and Jake worked tirelessly, long days, even in the pouring rain they managed a laugh or two, there attention to detail and knowledgeable advice and professionalism is first class and they can be proud of their efforts to achieve a result which is better than you could expect. Richard was always on hand to oversee the work and offer advice.

    Superb block paving driveway installed

    We had our gravel drive taken up and replaced with block paving. Over 50 sq mtrs. Victorian Rectory. The advice was excellent with regards to materials for an old house. The workmanship has been second to none and superbly done. My husband is a perfectionist and a chartered surveyor and it was a joy to watch these men work so fastidiously with utter perfection. They were incredibly hardworking and extremely courteous to have around. We are so thrilled with the job they are coming back to do more work for us. I have never given 10s when reviewing but these chaps more than deserve it.

    Replacement driveway and repair of carport base

    The work involved repairing a carport concrete base and lifting and removing paving slabs plus an area of tarmac and replacing it with a gravel surface. Richard visited and had some good advice and ideas. The work was supervised each day by Mike and his team who started at 7.30am and worked through until 5pm. We cannot praise their work too highly. They were all courteous, friendly, helpful and extremely hardworking and they even managed to finish half a day early. The end result has definitely improved the look of the property and the team left it neat and tidy. Highly recommended.

    Large patio

    Richard and his team were a joy to deal with the whole way through the process. The obvious passion with which they approach their work and the OCD-like attention to detail was above and beyond. We are exceptionally happy with the result: namely, the transformation of what was a drab and unused section of land around the side of our house into an amazing space for recreation and entertaining. In short, we heartily recommend Richard and his team.

    Large patio at back of the house and side of house.

    Richard and Allison and their team were fantastic from start to finish! We needed a large patio at the back of house and side too as the old one was falling apart. The foundations were terrible on our old 80’s patio and the team we had (George and Andy) laid all new foundations for our porcelain patio and we could see from day one their attention to detail and experience meant we were going to get an excellent patio! George and Andy work so well together and clearly take pride in their work, they have installed a beautiful patio that will last us for decades! We are thrilled with it! Thank you

    Removal of decking/pond area and concrete crazy paving

    The project involved removing a large wooden decking and a crazy paving area. Also the removal of a very overgrown mature pond. George and Jake worked extremely hard arriving at 7.30am every morning and worked late when weather permitted. The project exceeded my expectations as the men were able to lay the new paving on one level with a lovely retaining wall with brick edging. The quality of brickwork and paving is excellent and I will certainly be recommending 1st Advanced Landscapes to other friends in the area.

    Fencing

    This was phase 2 of works being carried out - fencing. 4 trees removed, 2 boundaries fenced, fence height increased - the step up placed behind a tree so not visible. Part of the fencing behind a hedge. The attention to detail, second to none - didn't stop until they were happy let alone us. On time, polite & courteous. Checked in with any questions and updates each day. Complete tidy up at the end of each day, no tools left lying around. Needless to say phase 3 is booked already. Very highly recommended.

    New patio, driveway, paths, hedging and lawns

    Richard and his team have quite literally transformed all of our outside space of our property over an 8 week project. The team's attention to detail, care taken, and quality of work was exceptional. We have a new porcelain patio, porcelain paths, block paving driveway, lawns, and hedging. The team also put in a raised bed, a shed base and made our log store, small green house and shed for us. Mike and Andy were on site all of the time, and due to the size of the project we met all of the team. I can not fault any of them on how clean they kept the site, their courtesy or customer service.
