Needed movement crack repairs done to two bedrooms. Stuart and Jimmy were superb. Provided a competitive quote, arrived on time and did everything promised to a high standard. Left the rooms cleaner than when they arrived! Really happy with the professional attitude and works done. Would not hesitiate to recommend.

I highly recommend Stuart and Jimmy. They re-pointed three walls of my house to an excellent standard at a competitive price. Re-pointing is normally a very dusty and messy job, but 1st Call used specialist equipment that vacuumed up the old mortar as it was raked out. This kept disruption and mess to a minimum. After re-pointing, they also treated the walls with a silicone weatherproof coating, cleared the gutters, and left everything tidy. They were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, kept me updated over the course of the project, and their expertise in damp treatment was a real bonus.

Stuart cleared out the cavity wall of debris and all insulation adding new airbricks and created a new soakaway at the front of the house, he also added wall ties to cracked pointing and brickwork and fixed loose bricks. Stuart was very knowledgeable, efficient, hard working and always turned up at the agreed time. Highly recommend Stuart and his son.

Stuart was professional and courteous throughout the process. He took time to explain how he would do the work to address a damp issue (remove airbricks and replace with new ones, clear out wall cavity and soakaway, and pare back internal wall section to brick, fit membrane and plasterboard). He answered all my questions with respect and patience. Stuart's quote was clear on what was included and his work was thorough and neat, It was a great experience and also good to support a quality independent trade.

Would like to thank Stuart and Jimmy for a great job done, we have a new DPC installed. The wall cavities completely cleaned out which have 120years of dust and rubble in. New air bricks installed and some existing brick work refilled with matching bricks and mortar. One of the bricks was hard to fine which one had been replaced, fantastic job, great communications and Stuart had a great wealth of knowledge and was happy to share. Stuart and his son installed new floorboards in my bathroom efficiently and professionally. Debris was also disposed of. I'd recommend their services.
