  Replace Barge Boards and Verge Tiles

  1st Roofing Specialists replaced bargeboards and verge tiles on two gable ends. When the first bargeboard was removed, Jim was quick to explain that the roof batten ends were rotten and would also need to be replaced, as an addition to the original quote. He was very honest and reasonable with the scope of the additional work required and the cost. The 2 lads worked tirelessly to complete the work in 2 very long days and the quality and pride they took in their work was refreshing. I will be certain to use 1st Roofing Direct for any future work and have no hesitation in recommending them.

  A good job well done

  I needed advice as to whether to repoint or remove a small chimney stack. Removal was recommended. All communication with them was friendly and efficient. The job was done punctually, cleanly and professionally and they spotted a missing tile in a different area and replaced that too. I would recommend them and happily use them again.

  Repairs to two chimneys

  Following my telephone call to 1st Roofing to book an appointment, Jim arrived at the arranged time to look at the work requested. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of roofing, explaining what the problem was likely to be and the procedure to fix the problems. A quotation was received, we accepted and booked a date for the work. All went smoothly, scaffolding arrived on time whilst work was taking place on another area only accessible by ladder. The work was carried out by Jim and his Son, very professionally and to a high standard. The site was left clean and tidy on completion.
