Replacing external door locks.
John contacted soon after my job had been listed and offered advice on the options of new locks for my house that I recently moved into. He ordered five locks for me which were 3 star as I had decided best met my needs and he attended my property on 30th September and replaced 5 locks on external doors and told me to check that I was happy with the operation of each of those locks and that the doors closed nicely. He said that if I have any problems to contact him so he can resolve. I was pleased with all communications with him and felt comfortable with his skill in getting the job done well and quickly and he was keen to ensure that I as a customer was happy with his work. Bizarre and not enough space to tell the full story.
Bizarre in one word. Gave 3 options of dates for the work on the evening of Monday 28 September, earliest of which was Friday 3rd October. Next morning I heard via What’s App from John saying he had the job and asking for a good time for me. I had already indicated after 4 to Checkatrade but replied ideally 12.30/1 ish, otherwise the late the better. 4pm was then agreed after I had confirmed my house number which again surely he would have from Checkatrade. Later that day, Tuesday, I arrived home at about 4.45 to find two men waiting for me.
