  Brick wall removed and then rebuilt and a small patio laid.

  We have limited parking and no driveway so it was as great that we didn't need a skip as Tom took the debris/rubble away on his truck.

  Repair Brick Wall

  The work was not carried out as described. In the quote Mr O’Shaunessy decided that instead of removing the whole panel of brickwork, he would remove only the middle of the panel where the crack had appeared. Where he had dug down to a section of the footings he placed a concrete lintel which bridged the other two sections on the first row of bricks leaving a void underneath the lintel. Since the cracks appeared in September 2018 he has done nothing to rectify the problem other than make one monitoring visit when I was present and say he made another monitoring visit when I wasn’t present. The cracks have widened. I have attempted to contact Mr O’Shaunessy many times. On the occasions I have spoke to him he has many reasons why he hasn’t contacted me or rectified the work. On 30th January 2019 Mr O’Shaunessy left a message for me assuring me he would be in touch to arrange a visit. To date I have note heard from him. I have paid once to have the wall repaired and it now needs to be repaired again.

  Rebuild front garden wall

  Professional, experienced, top quality, well explained, old school, gentleman. Site cleared up afterwards and all waste taken to council dump.

  Install window lintel, repoint house front and porch.

  10 out of 10. On time, on price and with a smile. I recommend Tom to anyone, in fact a neighbour has already asked for his details! Tom removed previous pointing, a few rows of bricks above a large pvc window which was bowing owing to lack of lintel, installed a lintel, reset removed bricks and repointed the front of the house. It looks spot on and has massively increased kerb appeal. If you have a bowed pvc window or need pointing give Tom a call. He is competitively priced, punctual and delivers a high quality of work.   Built new front garden wall.

  Tom is extremely easy to work with and communicate with. He was reliable, efficient and punctual throughout. His workmanship is excellent, and he clearly has a huge amount of experience in the building trade. Tom has even very kindly agreed to come back to fit pier caps which I didn't have at the time of the wall going up and wasn't in the original quote. I can't recommend Tom highly enough.
