I've been looking for a reliable electrician for ages, and Andy came highly recommended by our painter and decorator. Andy is a true professional, very rare these days: he tells you what he's going to do and he turns up and does it when he says he will. He did a great job for us, explained everything and left the house clean and tidy. Oh, and he's amiable, friendly and polite too... So what more can I say? Highly recommended indeed...

I am the landlord of a rental property in Birmingham and have used Andy’s services since 2013 for minor electrical works - replacement fittings, electrical safety checks and fault finding. It was a pleasure dealing with Andy. From the time he came to give us a quote to the time the work was completed, Andy was nothing but professional, polite and friendly. He carried out the jobs I'd asked for quickly and efficiently, and upon finding some faults with the existing electrics he spent lots of time testing all of the sockets to identify the fault and to ensure that the circuit was safe. He went above and beyond expectations and I would recommend him highly.

Contacted Andy via Checkatrade and had a message and call within 20 mins. Power had gone off to Shower, downstairs lights and upstairs sockets. Had checked fusebox last night but switching off and on again didn't work. Talked me through things on the phone-turned out one switch was partially down to off (hadn't seen it due to darkness/lack of power last night, plus wasn't all the way down to the off position). Told me how to fix it and all sorted (and didn't make me feel silly, despite having missed something obvious)! No callout needed. Thanks so much! Would call again for future work.
