We agreed a price and a date to do the work but, without any warning, he failed to turn up on the day, despite me sending a reminder the day before. My subsequent telephone calls and texts went unanswered. I still have no idea why he let me down.

Firstly I would like to apologise for the lack of communication in regards to installing a roof light for you. At the time in question I was very unwell with Covid.
When you first contacted me, I responded very quickly and came to see you the same day, I inspected your roof and did a temporary repair free of charge, which you seemed very happy with.
I feel for the reasons already outlined that your review is a little harsh. I wish you all the best for the future and hope you get the roof light issue resolved.
