    Great service. Very attentive, efficient and friendly. Cleaned up my house having to remove large amounts of debris through. Helped source plants and materials. No hesitation at all in recommending this company.

    Did a splendid job of tackling a totally overgrown, wild garden. Arrived on time, cleared everything away. Nothing was too much trouble. Bob and his team really enjoy their work, and did everything with enthusiasm. Bob is clearly a problem solver, and so will try and find a good solution to a particular concern. I found them pretty reasonably priced, and would not hesitate to recommend.

Company info

My name is Bob Roberts and I have been seriously involved with plants for about 45 years.

Grew up on a family fruit farm, studied horticulture at Wye College , University of London, from 1970 to 1973, where I obtained my degree.

Ran the farm, growing top and soft fruit and some field vegetables from 1973 to late 1996 when I moved with my family to London.

Started Apple Garden Services in 1997, working as a sole trader with help when I need, especially for larger jobs.

I provide the following services; 

weeding and clearing overgrown gardens, planting schemes and advice

erection of sheds, fences and trellis

preparation for and laying of lawns and artificial turf

building of patios and terraces

I particularly enjoy using my learning and experience in training and pruning plants to optimize their performance.
