  First met Barry a few years back and he refused to take any money off me for a small job at my flat. Since then he has been our go to electrician (he’s started charging since); he is very knowledge, has a great quality of work, friendly and really reasonably my priced

  Very professional and polite.Barry installed two outside wall lamps and found a fault with my driveway pillar lights, the fault was found very quickly and made good. He also changed a heated LED bathroom mirror that was on the same circuit as the main bathroom light to work independently, I cannot recommend Barry enough, we are looking to have him back to sort some electrical issues in the back garden very soon. If you want a good reliable electrician that turns up on time and won’t rip you off then Barry is your man

  EICR inspections and certification

  Barry was very polite and knew exactly what was required. He provided a very competitive quotation, arrived promptly and carried out the inspections. The price was exactly as quoted. I would have no hesitation using BBS for any future electrical work. Highly recommended.

  Fitting and wiring replacement outside light

  Barry wired in a new outside light replacing the old non-working original. It turned out to be a bit more fiddly than expected but Barry did a great job. Would definitely recommend and have taken his details for friends who may need future electrical work.

  Great advisory service!

  I approached Barry at BBS with a request to fit some new wired smoke detectors. However, Barry provided heaps of advice upfront totally free of charge that helped me to solve the problem cheaper and without even needing his expertise. Anyone else could have just made a quick buck and taken the simple job but it was really refreshing to see Barry take a customer centric long term view on this and help me out solve it myself. As a result Barry will be my first port of call in the future, and I'll be recommending him to friends/family. Great work ethic Barry and thanks for your help!! :)
