  Knock through for kitchen/diner

  Garrie was great from the quote to the end of the building work. He fitted the job in to suit our timings and provided advice before the work started and throughout the job. He was able to manage the project with other work that needed doing along the way but he stuck to his quote and fair price for the job. The brick work of some windows that were blocked up was done to a very high standard and a steal beam was installed very quickly and neatly for the initial knock through. We would recommend Garrie and his team and would use again in the future.

  Rear extension to form a large kitchen diner

  Carbon Construction has just completed a difficult build to create a large open plan kitchen/diner for us. Works included a single storey rear extension, installation of structural steels, removal of wall between existing kitchen and dining room and the rear wall of the house. Garrie gave great advice and showed real patience and understanding when we decided to have our structural calcs redone (for a third time!) after he had started the build. We are very pleased with the results of Garrie's work, and now have the room we had imagined from the beginning of this project.

  Garage conversion

  Garrie and his team were wonderful, and I am so pleased that I found him on Checkatrade. He took care to explain how the work would progress at every stage and introduced us to each specialist as they arrived to do their expert bit. They were all very helpful and courteous and worked very, very neatly. The attention to detail was very good, and the work was carried out to high quality. The financial aspects and the costings of the extras could have been a bit clearer, but again, Garrie was happy to discuss all aspects and was flexible. Would use again! Thanks, Garrie!

  Large rear extension and renovation of bungalow

  Garrie and his team at Carbon Construction built us an extension in our last home so we moved to our current propeerty we asked Garrie to advise us on major renovations. We have now gone from a run down 60's bungalow to modern living. Chimney removed, on-suite added to master bedroom, rewire, re plumbing, floors levelled and a major extension added to the rear with new kitchen and the list goes on. Garrie has been patient with us and given us professional advise, Our build was extremeley hard because of flooding of the ground work ( below water table) Also lack of supplies.

  Kitchen extension

  Garrie did an excellent job with my kitchen extension. The work included rebuilding an existing side structure, adding a a downstairs bathroom and fitting the kitchen (and making good). He also organised a new boiler to be fitted for our house. All his team and everyone he got to complete the work were professional and courteous, and everything was completed to a high standard.

  Removing back door to enlarge opening and install bifolds and make good inside and out
