    Didn't get job right three times, caused drain blockage & saying they're taking us to County Court

    We wish we'd used Checkatrade for their guarantee to cover the unacceptable work done by Coastal Drains who have written saying they're taking us to County Court about us not paying their invoice for a job they got wrong three times and not done to what the quote was. They rendered over the removable metal grill and the render, three times, cracked immediately. Just paid to have another company remove the render over the metal grill to get it out to treat the blockage. Big part of the blockage was Coastal Drains big chunks and washed away silt of render.

    A company you can trust

    Turned out to be first class company. On making contact to help with a blocked main drain. I was given clarity on the costs. No call out fees and I had someone attend within the hour to sort things out It required a further visit which to remove fat residue that had built up after many years. Again I was given clarity. On what the cost would be and when it would be and was completed. So 100% satisfied.

    Drain blockage clearance

    Drain was badly blocked, they worked hard for nearly 3 hours and did a fantastic job unblocking a difficult blockage. Warned me when the hour was nearly up each time too, to help me manage costs. Kept me informed throughout. Friendly guy. Highly recommend.

    Blocked drains outside for rain drainage issue

    Daryl and Ryan were absolutely brilliant. The back of my house has been extremely damp for many years and finally we realised that it was probably the rain Water not being able to escape properly. The guys came in without any fuss & CCTV the area and managed to unblock a very old blocked up hole. They worked hard and they were extremely clean and professional very polite. They left everything as it was and I was so happy they managed to sort the problem out which will help with the management of damp at the rear of our house.

    Fixing blocked drain

    They did a fantastic job, sorting out the initial blockage and then identifying the issue - and getting that resolved. Would definitely use again (just hope not to need to)

    Good service

    Very happy with the work carried out. All staff friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We were kept fully informed regarding all appointments and particularly appreciated the courtesy call we received to say that they were on the way to us. Would recommend this company.
