  Knowledgeable, efficient and organised

Martin did a fantastic job of fitting me a new water softener, moving the place the water softener was in the kitchen and sorting out all the plumbing. He was very knowledgeable about where best to put the softener and how best to use the space that we have - we gained a whole cupboard back! He was also really tidy and communicated with me before and after fitting. The softener is also significantly better than my last one, so his advice was spot on. I now even have a new tap for drinking water! I can't recommend highly enough.

Absolutely brilliant local tradesman. Would highly recommend.

Martin supplied and installed a new water softener in our kitchen. He was a pleasure to have in the house. Very polite, friendly and left everything clean and tidy. In fact he went over and above to accommodate our needs. His communication was spot on.

  Water Softener replacement

Martin has spend 3 hours replacing our 20+ year old water softener. Did offer to repair our old softener and gave honest opinion regarding repair versus replacement. We opted to go for a Minimax M3 to replace our rather obsolete softener. Martin clearly has a huge amount of knowledge and experience; did a great job of fitting the new watersoftener, replacing all of the old pipework and isolating valves; really neat - just a shame that it's all hidden in the cupboard! Would highly recommend Martin an Compass Water Softeners if you need a honest opinion/advice and a professional installation

  Five stars plumbing job.

Martin came to install a water softener in our kitchen 7 weeks ago. I was very impressed by his neat plumbing, his efficiency, time keeping. He is a very skilled plumber, he also replaced my old outdoor tap and left the entire area where he worked as tidy as he found it. I found Martin being approachable, polite and friendly. He took the time to explain the benefit of soft water in the home. I am delighted with the advice and service received. Highly recommend.

  Great Service

Martin carried out an excellent job installing our new water softener. From the initial quote to the final tidy-up, everything was handled professionally and to a very high standard. He arrived exactly on time, explained the process clearly, and was extremely thorough. There were several unforeseen issues that cropped up during the installation (including some unexpected plumbing complications), but Martin dealt with them all calmly, efficiently, and without any extra fuss or unnecessary cost. His expertise really shone through.

  Decent, honest and professional

Martin did a brilliant job in terms of turning up on time, outlining the options for the water softener and then fitting and cleaning up afterwards. He’d fitted one for me over ten years ago. Highly personable and professional. I’ve recommended him to a couple of other people. Top bloke.
