D G Fires & Fireplaces did a great job removing an old fireplace, disused back boiler, hearth and surround. They then blocked up the fireplace and put plaster board on ready for us to redecorate. The whole job was done very expertly and neatly. I have now wall papered the wall and you can't tell there was ever a fireplace there, the wall is so smooth. They turned up promptly on the prearranged date, wervery friendly and polite and left everything tidy. We were very grateful to use such a reliable company, as other work, eg tiling, followed, so we were depending on them coming as arranged.

Darren from D&G was great....efficient and friendly and he cleaned up all the mess! He removed an old gas fire, filled in the hole with bricks and installed an electric fire. He did a very good job and didn't charge the earth.

Initially thought fire service however broken electronic unit found to be faulty. Darren ordered new and replaced, then serviced. Manufacturer unit took a time to source and costly. Was warned and quoted by Darren.
