  We have used Darren several times for various works on our property. As always, Darren’s work was exemplary, fulfilling the brief given to him, and even going beyond the request by fixing a little wooden shed. Darren is a perfectionist, and this is reflected in the work he does. At the end of the job, he said it had gone quicker than he expected and he proposed to knock a substantial amount off the final bill.

  Darren was excellent through out He replaced our entire kitchen floor including fittings and replaced floor Exterior work done to a very high standard Had a plasterer come in and he did a superb job on the ceilings Timekeeping was excellent and we were kept informed all throughout all the building work ( work didn't over run at all) Even fixed mistakes done by a previous builder Couldn't recommend DJB highly enough will definitely be using them again

  I can honestly say this company is the unicorn of all builders! I never knew such fantastic workmanship existed in the building trade. They arrived by 8am every day and worked sometimes until 6pm at night and I mean worked! Absolutely thrilled to bits with every aspect of the job - coving, skirting, media wall built, walls knocked down etc - all done to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble, even sorted out previous builders shortfalls! I cannot recommend them enough and will 100% be having them back again.

  It became obvious very quickly that Darren loves his job and that he is very good at what he's doing. The job here was to address various water-ingress-related issues on external walls of a historic converted barn, e.G. Re-pointing, re-build a plinth, re-do brittle brickwork/ragstones, a French drain, and various other issues. Everything was done to our full satisfaction, thereby Darren was always proactive in coming up with clever ideas to address the sometimes quite individual issues we had. Also, excellent communication and very friendly, hence overall 10 out of 10 from us for Darren.

  Exceptional workmanship, Darren never fails to deliver. He takes such pride in his work and it shows in the quality of the end result. He is professional, courteous, punctual and always leaves everything clean and tidy. Would not hesitate to use again or recommend to others.
