This was the second appointment because they had ordered the wrong part for the initial appointment. They subsequently did not turn up for the second appointment. They are trying to charge me for the service based on the fact they turned up for the first appointment but because they ordered the wrong part they could not fix it then. As they failed to turn up for the second appointment I subsequently cancelled as I felt I cannot rely on them. They will refund the parts but not the service.

This is the second order I have placed with Doormatic and I would use them again. They are efficient, polite and do a great job.
Paid £114 as initial payment to have door repaired. Engineer spent 5 minutes telling me my door was broken - which I already advised them when I made the call. Then wanted additional funds to repair the door without any credit for the original £114.
Your door wasn’t an original Doormatic door, you called us with a broken door and we charged you a call out fee of £114 to attend site to assess damage and see what needed doing. Unfortunately, in your case you needed additional parts which are extra and chargeable. The call out fee can’t be offset as it is exactly that, a call out fee. We wish you the best of luck with your door in the future.
