Re-tiling our old slate roof plus a new pitched roof to a new extension.
Philip and his lovely team made a brilliant job of removing our old slate tiles and replacing them with smart new ones on our existing cottage, along with the new tiles for a pitched extension roof. His team also replaced the old lead-work gully between the pitched roofs and around the two chimney stacks and cleaned and repointed them. They made a fantastic job and were friendly, polite and professional.
Garage conversion to utility room raising and provision of new roof.
Existing garage halved to create store and utility room. Existing roof removed and raised. Very pleased with new roof and the two separate spaces created within the existing garage space. The workers who previously unknown to me were all related and worked together well as a team. All were polite helpful and attentive. Phil the owner was easy and pleasant to deal with from initial quote through to completion.
Flat roof replacement and upgrade.
Fantastic service from Phil and his team again. First class attention to detail. Have used Downsview before, so had no hesitation in getting them to upgrade and replace our flat roof. They are also carrying out re-pointing and window replacement for us too. Highly recommended.

EPDM replacement of corrugated concrete/asbestos roof
The Downsview team organised the removal of the old concrete/asbestos roofing, strengthened the supports and constructed a new roof consisting of an EPDM membrane for our garage. In addition they sourced a double glazed door and window to our design and completed the installation to a high standard. Going forward I will be able to build an office in the garage and the team were extremely helpful in recommending damp proof and insulation materials, techniques and best building practices. Overall a really good experience and I will certainly use them again in any future building project.
New EPDM rubber roof installation and guttering works
Excellent. After being let down by another roofer (who could hardly put up guttering, let alone handle the flat roof they had quoted for) I contacted Philip who cam round to look at the work. He offered sound advice, and followed up with a good quote. The work was completed quickly, and to a high standard. They were also flexible enough to take on some extra bits of tidying up and finishing off guttering done by the previous cowboy. Very happy with the job, and would definitely use Downsview again.
New Conservatory Insulated Flat Roof and Rear Cladding
Jack and his team did another excellent job for us in replacing a brittle polycarbonate conservator roof with an insulated EDPM flat roof and internal plaster boarding and finishing. They also replaced the rear cladding. The works have made the conservatory into a versatile and usable room in all weathers (we can even have a conversation when its heavy rain now without the unbearable noise on the polycarbonate!).
