I ordered a new gas fire from Fireplaces Direct largely because they could do LPG and also assured me they wouldn’t damage my lovely stone fireplace. All other suppliers have caveats. They did an excellent install and have serviced the fire ever since. One other thing of note - a couple of years ago after a service it was apparent the lower removable cast iron cover had a bit broken off. It was highly unlikely this was delivered that way but I couldn’t prove. They replaced without question. How places respond to issues is the biggest show of service. Thanks Fireplaces Direct 😀

Last week we had an Onyx Avanti log effect gas fire installed in our bungalow ,to replace an old fashioned coal gas fire. All work was carried out to a very high standard with all furniture and carpets covered, even hoovering up as they progressed with the job. Any gas work that was required, the before and after pressures were recorded, including finding my gas meter was not at the correct pressure. Re plastering and skirting board fitted Steve finished the install of the fire leaving our room looking modern and amazingly clean. Thoroughly professional install from start to finish

We are delighted with our new gas stove. It looks beautiful. We had excellent service throughout and the two guys who fitted the stove, which included laying a gas pipe under the patio, were thoroughly professional and meticulous. Would not hesitate to recommend this company.

From the first moment I visited the showroom I received nothing but friendly and excellent advice and service from Chris. He wasn't at all pushy which is great....nothing was too much trouble . He came to visit my home on the arranged date and time, again nothing was too much trouble. The fitter arrived on time and even though he encountered problems we hadn't envisaged he just carried on.
