  Dream Team for live-in extension building projects

  Greg's amazing team built approx. 45m2 of new internal space: a living room extension; a new kitchen; new shower room; and a garden room. Also extensive ground works, a large porch and wrap-around patio. Starting in July 2024 with a challenging brief and newbie-self-builders, they steered us competently to completion within 8 months. With long experience and not needing architect plans, our advice is: discuss your brief directly. Greg brought us in slightly under budget, always fair and trustworthy. Reliable, super-hard working and well connected with all trades. Highly recommended.

  A Building Dream Team - Smart, skilled and trustworthy

  Greg and Danny completed a rural ground floor extension and renovation of approx. 45m2, along with ground works and patio in 8 months, finishing in Feb 2025. They were 100% reliable, incredibly hard working, always positive and solution-focussed. They have a lot of experience and know their preferred building style. They did not require our Architect’s detailed plans. Our advice would be to go straight to them and discuss your brief directly. It will save you time and money! Their flexibility made it possible to live in the house during the build. We completed just under budget - Amazing!

  Thoroughly professional, personable, diligent, working at pace

  I would highly recommend GD Construction, thoroughly professional, personable, diligent and working at pace. Greg and Danny did an excellent job in reconfiguring the downstairs of our house. They worked quickly and once started stayed with the job each day until completion at a competitive price. They cleared up each day removing all waste from site. The other trades people they either directly engaged or recommended to do specialist roles such as the glazier came recommended by them based on their experience using these other people on larger building projects.   New driveway

  Greg and Danny did a great job on our new driveway. They worked within our budget, made helpful suggestions and worked efficiently. They were reliable and kept us up to date with progress and ideas. We’d definitely use them again when the need arises!

  Extension and New Bedroom

  Greg and Danny completed a ground floor extension and a new bedroom above totalling 80m2 in only 8 weeks! They then went on to create and lay a new 100m2 patio and they are coming back in October to do some more landscaping. They are punctual, very knowledgable, super organised and able to call up any building specialist at the drop of a hat. Their work is of the very highest standard, good value for money and they were an absolute delight to work with. If you are looking for a top builder, look no further, these guys are simply the very best that I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

  Kitchen wall removal.

  We had a wall between our kitchen and dining room removed,. On looking at the job Greg offered great advice, and helped massively with liaising with the local council. Greg and Danny were here for just over a week, they made the upheaval as painless as possible, and their work was just brilliant, they went above and beyond, Danny even sorted out brickwork in our outside wall that other tradesmen had been unable to sort. Don't hesitate to use these two guys, their work is terrific, they even hoovered at the end of each day, and removed every piece of rubbish. Thanks Greg and Danny.
