Excellent job resolving a sticky garage doors

I had an urgent issue with my garage door—it was completely broken and wouldn’t close, which left me anxious. Darren from Garage Doors R Us responded immediately. Despite the late hour, he came straight away, assessed the problem, and fixed it efficiently. His calm manner made a stressful situation easier to handle. I cannot thank Darren enough. Turned up on time and fixed the door in under 20 minutes, which was great. However, the quoted price didn’t include VAT, which I wasn’t told until after the job was done. When I questioned it, he claimed he always tells clients—he didn’t. He also removed the rubber seal from the bottom of the garage door without any explanation; I had to ask why. Then told me his work guarantee doesn’t cover “being stupid and blocking the door,” which felt unprofessional. Fast and efficient, but poor communication and attitude let it down.

Contacted Darren & he arrived at my house within 30 mins of the phone call. Excellent service. The door had come completely off the rails & the wire had come off the pully so the door would just jam when you tried to open it, however it was repaired in approximately 45 minutes and now works like it did when first installed. No Pressure to buy a new door, just very happy to repair the one I had! I highly recommend anyone who has a broken up and over garage door contacts this business before making a decision to buy a new one. Great business to deal with!
