New Bathroom.
GWBS were amazing, the standard of work was exemplary, all the tradespeople involved, were professional, courteous and kept us inform throughout the whole project. J.P. Is a great guy, easy to talk to always goes the extra mile. Kitchen extension groundworks and major pitched roof development over old double garage
Superb experience all round. The quotes were accurate, and competitive, but not the cheapest. However what we got for paying a little more was exceptional planning, build quality, attention to detail, and a great vibe with everyone on site (and neighbours - very importnant). Daily comms gave me really good updates and whenever there was an issue, a knock on the window and we'd sort it out. I'd rather pay a bit more and have this kind of experience. Single storey extension to bungalow
We are delighted with our extension. JP and the team were excellent throughout, very professional, informative and always ensuring that we were happy with the work being done. We were particularly impressed with the way that they kept the impact on our living accommodation to an absolute minimum. Large side extension
Despite starting the work during a pandemic, the project ran smoothly due to the teams flexibility. This project was our first extension and we wouldn't hesitate doing another in the future - the site was tidy, the materials used were the best quality, the guys were highly professional and personable, and importantly the work was completed within budget. The team did everything to ensure the work was completed by the time our baby arrived and kept stress to a minimum. I am a bricklayer by trade, but undertake all manner of building works. New builds, refurbishment, landscaping, groundworks, home improvements, , general plumbing. I have over 20 years experience on all manner of projects. Our aim is to create a company that is synonymous with quality and hard-work. We strive to use the best tradesmen we can find, and most importantly the right trade for the right job.
I found my way into construction by starting out as a bricklayer. I attended local college. I then worked my way up through our apprenticeships on various projects, ranging from new build houses, in brick, block, stone work, and Bath stone. I have worked a lot on house renovations and re modelling, including structural works, to internal walls, removal of walls to form openings, and the insertion of steels to accommodate this work. I have also worked on various listed building projects, and are familiar with lime mortar work.
I have a high level of experience with project management, these projects range from extensions, new build houses, and large refurbishment jobs. Notably a large housing development in Bradford On Avon which I project managed.
Great Western Building Services are very focused, determined and have high expectations of what we would like to achieve. This simply is to provide the best service at the best price possible. Our attention to detail, and quality of finish is what ensures GWBS stands out from other contractors.
We very much believe in our abilities and hope that you will give us a chance to prove that, with attention to customer service and great communication between us and our clients, not all builders are the same.
