  Excellent work again.

This is the second time I have used Greg, this time to restore some wooden chairs. Both times I have found Greg's work to be excellent. He is very interactive and asks for your opinion on various options. I would definitely use him again for any wooden furniture restorations.

  Quality craftsmanship

Greg did a brilliant job on a vintage desk which had been sorely neglected. It had been years in our garage and had suffered some damage and had lost its lustre. He meticulously sanded down, stained and polished the desk which then brought back the beauty of the walnut wood. He also painstakingly restored the leather surface which had some damp damage. All in all we are delighted with Greg’s work and craftsmanship.

  Rocking Chair Rebirth

We had an old american oak rocking chair that required recaning as the seat had completely disintegrated. Approached though Ckeckatrade, Greg suggested that he could repair the chair. Honest that recaning was not within his skill set, he did offer a solution and approximate price. It was proposed to replace the caning with an inset solid wooden seat suitably matched to the american oak. He showed other examples of his similar work. We accepted with the chair repaired within 2 weeks, Greg keeping us appraised of progress as he worked on the chair. We were delighted with the end result.

GREAT JOB 👏 HONEST AND V PROFESSIONAL

I had four chairs which I was about to get rid of, but I thought let’s just see if we can restore them. I took them to Greg who reassured me that they would come up well, and how it would be possible with the right treatment, It was a reassuring truthful and confident answer to my questions. There was hope for the chairs ! The chairs have been , beautifully. and sensitively restored. Greg gave me a timeframe of a week which he stuck to and communicated well. He stuck to the price quoted which again was fair and honest. I thoroughly recommend him.
