Tom was able to visit me within 24 hours of my enquiry, helping get my washing machine up & running again due to a fault with the spur that fed power to the plug socket. He clearly explained what the issue was and quickly performed the fix. Tom was also helpful in explaining how the spur works and answered any questions I had about the electrics in my apartment, putting my mind at ease regarding the possibility of a poor job being done.

Tom delivered an excellent service from start to finish. Great comms, very accommodating with tenant's limited availability and did exactly what he said he would do. I feel that honest, high-quality tradesmen who take pride in their work are a dying breed, but Tom restored my faith that they still exist. He is very trustworthy, knows what he's talking about, and unlike many tradespeople nowadays, offers genuine advice rather than simply trying to maximise his profit margins. I hope to use Tom for all my electrical work going forward.

We first worked with Tom Herbert 6 years ago when we installed all the electrics in 4 flats we were renovating in London - his workmanship and can do attitude was exemplary. Since then Tom is always the first person we go to for any changes, maintenance work and annual electrical certificates for the flats . No need to look anywhere else.

I've hired Tom twice now, for a fuseboard replacement and for a lighting upgrade to LED. He was very patient and communicative throughout, explaining what needed to be done in great detail. He was easily reachable by WhatsApp even on evenings and weekends. He did an excellent job with both the fuseboard and the lights. I would recommend him to anyone needing a qualified electrician.
