We are members of the Federation of Master Builders. As a Master Builder, we have been professionally vetted and independently inspected to ensure that we meet the high standards expected of a Master Builder company. The vetting process includes checking our trading history, credit history, public liability as well as undertaking an inspection process that involves an independent assessment of our building work.

We are also registered with TrustMark. Trustmark is the only government-endorsed standards scheme for trades that operate in and around the home. It gives consumers confidence in firms to undertake work that is of high quality, is protected and delivered at agreed costs. Consumers know that the TrustMark logo signifies this business has made a commitment to customer service and good trading practices. 

The Houghton Lewis Group has many years’ experience covering all aspects of building, including new luxury houses, extensions and refurbishment. From garage conversions, house renovations, single and double storey extensions to new build projects, HLG has the experience to deliver.

Simon and Tim formed Houghton Lewis with the philosophy to create a building company that gave a superior experience to clients and a reputation to rival those who have been operating for a much longer duration. HLG pride themselves on the quality of their work, which is a result of the culture they have built within the business. This is replicated across all the staff and sub-contractors used to create a professional and respectful team.
