  Excellent carpentry

  J&R Carpentry have recently finished replacing our internal doors with modern oak ones and also renovating our stair spindles and bannisters in oak. Richard and John were extremely friendly and considerate whilst working with us and always left everything clean and tidy at the end of each day. They took great care to ensure all the door furniture fitted correctly and no damage done to the frames & decor. Communication prior to and during the job was excellent and the final invoice was as quoted. We are very pleased with the final results and would happily use them for any future work.

  Wooden canopy

  Richard and his son arrived on time and worked all day to complete the wooden canopy over our front door. The quality of the work was excellent and they left the front of our house clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend Richard and his son and intend to use them again for another project in our home.

  Door trimming

  John did a great job trimming my door after I had new flooring installed. He even noticed the handle was loose and fixed it without me asking. Highly recommend J&R Carpentry!

  New Glass fronted kitchen door

  John came round on time to fit our new kitchen door. He was polite and professional. Perfect job! I was going to touch up the door later on with some white paint I'd got out but without even asking John had gone the extra mile and done it already for me. 10/10, would use again.

  Refitting 5 doors.

  I highly recommend J&R Carpentry. They arrived promptly, worked efficiently, and completed what I expected to be a half-day job in under 90 minutes. They resized five internal doors that were sticking, finished them neatly with a satin white touch-up, and left everything clean and tidy. They also went the extra mile by helping to stabilise our fence, which was greatly appreciated. A lovely, professional father-and-son team who clearly take pride in their work. I would not hesitate to use them again.

  Alteration to kitchen units to fit tumble dryer in

  The two chaps were great and worked very hard to make things perfect. Arrived exactly when they said and updated me throughout the job with what they were doing. Left everything clean and tidy - would recommend them to anyone!
