Our kerbside water meter indicated a mains leak indicatively at the interface of garden and lounge. Upon contact, a JC Gas engineer arrived to assess the problem, but applied no tests whilst advising that the water supply be turned off at regular intervals pending further work in 10 days' time, although our age-related disabilities demanded prompt action. We approached an alternative company that was able to intercede immediately, identify the problem as being inside the property and to rectify. We are disappointed that JC Gas required a call out fee but offered no useful support.

Our engineer attended on the day of your call and identified a water leak potentially originating from a fitting on the cold water mains pipework beneath the ground. As further investigation and additional work were required, the repair could not be completed during the initial visit.
We arranged a return appointment at the earliest opportunity, taking into account your planned absence, which you then cancelled. We are pleased that the issue has now been resolved and appreciate your feedback.
