  • Cutting back a Myrtle Tree in our front garden

    The task was to reduce the height of our Myrtle Tree by 2 metres and to re-shape the tree. A neighbour recommended Keith Archers to us, we found their service very friendly and efficient, and their quote seemed good value. As we live in a Conservation Area we had to apply for Planning Consent to carry out the work, all of which Keith Archers handled on our behalf. The team from Keith Archers who visited were very personable and the tree was cut back all as agreed and very skilfully cut to a very nice shape. Thank you..!

    Comms with admins was a nightmare, talking to 4 different people at a time to book was a real headache. No contact from the estimator beforehand. The guys did respect next door garden (exit route for cuttings) during 1st visit/2nd visit this was non existant. Asked them to shape 2nd tree which was refused as "not on job sheet", but they offered to cut 6 sizeable tree stumps down to 1ft high which was not a listed job?! Company does not comprehend my complaint and I have been left to finish the work myself/make tidier the garden next door.  Rude workers who left without speaking/just walked off.

    The team turned up exactly when they said they would, myself and the arborist confirmed the works to be completed.The canopy of the tree was so dense, as it hadn't been managed at all.They were very careful to protect my new shed roof, as the tree was being cut, cleared any mess up afterwards.Polite team, happy to answer any questions. It is lovely and light in my back rooms now, I don't need to turn the light on in the daytime.I keep looking out of the window !
