My gas hob work has been book days in advances and I called twice on the day to make sure enerthing is assigned. However no engineer showed up. And received a call after the appointment slot, they are saying sorry it was cancelled due to no engineer has gas qaualification. Oh my god! I cannot believe it happens with them. They are leaving me drying with rebooking me to the other gas engineer on the same day, and they are asking me to wait till next week 5 days later for another appointment and meanwhile we dont have hob to cook and we have children and old people at people. That is just bad.

Firstly we would like to state that no engineer from our Company attended this person’s property. This person called our office to ask how much we would charge to install his own new gas hob, we gave him a price, he said we were too expensive and was going to ring around and use someone else – no appointment was made. To our surprise he called back the following week and said that he had his new hob and wanted us to install it, we advised him that an installer would have to carry out the work (as sometimes alterations to the gas pipe are required and an isolation valve installed) but all of our installer’s were busy on a bigger job installing a new boiler. At this point he became very aggressive and abusive on the phone to the point where the young lady in the office became very upset and another member of staff had to take over the phone call to try and help the Customer. He remained abusive and aggressive and so we advised him that he should get another company to install his hob as we would not be attending.
