  They painted the outside of the house

  They were very polite and helpful to start with but when challenged at the end of the job about issues with the painting on every window they wouldn’t accept it even though it was obvious. The painting was cracking, areas hadn’t been rubbed down properly and the original colour was still present. When challenged they walked off the job and said they could never please me.

  Whilst working for the customer he took great pride in telling me that he did not fully pay the last contractor his last payment as he said he found issues with his work as well. I feel the customer has treated me the same way as we have not been paid in full. I sent a member of staff to address the customers issues and on arrival I found my staff had been intimidated by the customer. The customer didn’t allow us to carry out our work and then proceeded to tell me what he thought was an outside edge which was an internal edge. I found him trying to tell me how to do my job. We did numerous extras that were not charged for. We also managed to repair his garage doors and save him purchasing a new one. So poor workmanship doesn’t really add up. As you can see, we have a good reputation and have had positive numerous feedback over the many years with Checkatrade. I pity the next Tradesman who comes across this customer and I am proud to carry on as a member of Checkatrade. We had two other jobs in the same street prior to this and all works were carried out satisfactorily and full payment received.

  Bathroom and reading room to decorate and some repairs

  Prompt, efficient, very helpful, kind and understanding, very clean and exceed my level of expectation. His advise on what colour was spot on. He is very punctual and his staff are also very reliable, discreet and polite. I recommended his services to friends and family since.

  New patio

  Mike and his team helped transform our back garden. We are thrilled with the job, they always turned up when they said they would, worked tirelessly, were polite and courteous throughout, and most importantly gave us a really good price. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
