My name is Matt Chivers, I have been working in this Industry since 1982 and set up my own business in 1987.

I have worked in many different areas including large sites, refurbishments, conversions, commercial, medical and domestic - from small one-off jobs to large contracts.

My main area is currently in domestic situations. I pride myself on being clean, tidy and considerate to my customers and respecting their home environment.
For many years I have carried out work in a large London hospital, where a considerate and flexible approach is vital.

I have City & Guilds qualifications in Painting and Decorating & Carpentry, ONC and HNC in Building Studies. I also work for my local FE college as an NVQ Assessor, assisting apprentices to gain qualifications in Decorating and Carpentry.

I cover all areas of East and West Sussex and parts of Hampshire and Surrey.

I offer free and friendly advice based on your individual requirements, or suggestions should you be struggling for ideas!

I have been working on the renovation of a former restaurant in Washington, West Sussex, now three separate residential properties, since May and completing NVQ portfolios of City & Guild students in my role as NVQ Assessor, hence the lack of recent reviews. I am still very much able to offer my services for works required from October onward, looking forward to hearing from you!
