Job location: BS5Ryan went the extra mile to ensure that all work was carried out to the highest standards. Ryan was extremely personable and we were more than happy to have him in the house. Ryan installed new radiators throughout an aging house, replacing a very old heating system. He is extremely professional, highly skilled and knowledgeable and obviously takes huge pride in his work. This was evident in the result (which was also commented upon by other trades in the house) and also how he goes about his work workmanship with care and attention. Matthew did an efficient and thorough job of removing our gas fire and replacing our boiler. Despite challenges due to a strange house layout he completed both activities to an extremely high standard and went to great lengths to explain to me what he was doing. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional and communication was easy. He even recommended which kit was right for me and helped organise the quotation with the supplier. He has left the house better than he found it and I would happily hire again. Ryan's work lived up to the reviews we had read. Our house meant pipes to some downstairs radiators would be exposed. Ryan's pipework is super neat and precise, looking more like an art installation than mere functional pipework. Ryan worked flexibly with us as we lived in property throughout. We had prepared for disruption, upstairs floors would have to come up, etc. Ryan was happy to work in a way that allowed us to repair and decorate walls as the job progressed. Matthews Heating Services fitted a new boiler and controls, three new radiators and a new hot water tank in my home. All the work was carried out in a very professional manner and completed to schedule and to the original quotation. Ryan explained each stage of the work clearly and inspired complete confidence on my part. Boiler Servicing & Repair

Cooker & Gas Hob Replacement/Installation
Power-Flushing
This a method of cleaning out older heating systems to restore its efficiency. Sometimes if a heating system has not been installed correctly, or no inhibitor has been in the system, then this can cause the radiators to rust from the inside out. Along with other deposits, this can cause blockages in pipework, radiators to not work efficiently, pumps and other components to fail prematurely. When we power flush a system, we will add the correct level of inhibitor, and if you use us for servicing your boiler we will check the levels with each boiler service.
Central Heating Maintenance
We can replace, move, install new radiators and valves. Any central heating work taken, from installing new thermostats/smart thermostats, finding and repairing leaks, installing system filters, scale reduction, pump replacement, etc. Basically, anything central heating/gas/water we will repair and fix.
Small Jobs
We love small jobs at Matthews Plumbing & Heating. We will repair broken toilets, taps, washers, leak repairs etc. Please get in touch if you can not find what you need on this list. Chances are, that we will do that as well.
