2 metal gates
We have an antique gate leading into the rear garden and we asked Darren to copy the gate and make a pedestrian access gate and a vehicle access gate for the front drive, both of which he did beautifully! The end result is stunning. We are absolutely delighted. Throughout the whole project, Darren was professional, efficient and very nice to work with. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Indoor handrail
Needed to put in the handrail for the internal stairs just before Xmas. We have a specific metal handrail requirements, Darren came into take the measurements twice just to be 100% spot on. The finishing was off a good quality too. The communication was prompt and detailed. At times, the communication came across as risk-adverse but explained well. I would recommend Darren at a heartbeat.

fitting of metal railings on new brick wall
Darren did a superb job of designing , and making the railings to be attached onto a new wall for the front garden. Superb craftsmanship and fitting. I would fully recommend Darren for the work , his integrity and opinion of what looks good with metal work.

My second order with Metal Design and just as happy as the first order!
Darren fitted handrails a few years ago and I was very pleased with the service. I now needed a new gate fitted and went straight back to Darren for the next order and I'm so glad I did. Great knowledge. He clearly knows what he doing and cares about his work. And he just in general a nice guy to work with. For my 3rd order, I know who I'm turning to!

Handrails

New bespoke metal handail for patio steps
Darren produced and fitted a new handrail to a set of steps from our new patio to the garden, working in conjunction with the company that was building the patio. His design took onboard special requirements for the curled ends of the rail and complimented our metal gate and railings that Darren installed many years ago. He pays real attention to detail and the result is again top quality.
