Not the cheapest quote, but certainly very helpful and flexible. They provided storage at the last minute, and nothing broken or damaged, even though we hadn't wrapped things too well. Their workers were very hard working, up lots of fights of stairs, despite having a four hour drive both ways. Their terms and conditions could probably be simplified, but they are more flexible than the paperwork suggests.

Moved from a ground floor flat to a semi-detached house this week. Excellent service once again. Have used the company over many years and can always trust them to provide a great service

I had to move house just before Christmas and Mr Shifter fit me in no problem. The last time they moved me they provided all boxes and tape, but this time nothing was included so it was fortunate that I'd kept all my old boxes. On the day, I was ready for 8am but they didn't arrive until 10:30, after I'd phoned the office for reassurance. They were lovely guys, very efficient and courteous, and soon had all my stuff safely installed in the new place. Except my large wardrobe tho', which they "were not insured to dismantle", so make sure you do such jobs yourself first. Recommended.

The team promptly - they covered all the carpets with protective matting which was great as there were messy roadworks on our street. They were careful with our furniture and belongings and the removal was carried out very efficiently. I did feel sorry for the 2 lads as we were moving into a first floor flat - with 2 flights of stairs to contend with! - but they still worked quickly (and maintained a good sense of humour!) and the move was finished on time. Both of them had a friendly 'no trouble' attitude which is just what you need. Highly recommend.

I have used Mr Shifter 4 times in the last 2 years; 2 house moves and moves into and out of storage. Each time they have been timely, tidy, courteous and very efficient. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Friendly, helpful staff who worked efficiently and well. They were careful with all our furniture and completed the job exactly how we asked. Would happily use again.
