  I cannot praise Optama enough, they guided me through the process to get the funding, very friendly people. Work was carried out quickly, trades were all lovely, friendly and helpful, carried out work to a high spec, took away all rubbish, and the Optama people checked all was going well both while work was done and afterwards too.

  They did not pay for my work for more than two months . There must be high staff rotation within company because managers and admins who dealt with my contract are not working there anymore. They did not respond to my emails and messages , after two months I am told that whole job was redone and I am not getting my wages. First project was not redone neither payment was done to me .

  My new eco heating installation by Optama

  From the out set I was immediately impressed by how Optama. Guided me painlessly through the application process , Keeping me informed on the tome lines involved Once we received confirmation our proposal was granted Joanne my point of contact explained exactly what was involved re completing the heating installation and how the loft insulation would be undertaken She arranged suitable dates and informed myself of the time lines involved in both procedures. The new heating installation was completed promptly with minimal inconvenience All in all a great job I’m well pleased A R Mair

  Install oil combi boiler.

  Fitted our oil combi boiler in 2022. Took a month to get it working properly due to being installed wrongly (including wired up incorrectly). The contract included 5 years servicing, but on trying to arrange our first service, Optama have essentially ignored us. Sent email, messages, left voice messages and even spoke to them on the phone. But every one has been ignored. When in the phone they cut you off or transfer to voicemail? To be honest I don't really want them to service it, but don't want to give them the satisfaction of getting away with it. Avoid!

  Gave up on solar PV and battery install after months of excuses and chasing

  Missed installation survey dates without telling me they were not coming. Missed install dates. Total lack of communication. Had to chase every email. They tried to change all agreed equipment two days before first install date. They delayed a month to ensure equipment arrived. Date was missed due to backlog caused by "poor weather" then the following week the supplier had let them down and the equipment was not there. Offered to meet me to discuss then failed to organise a date. The only thing they actually did was return my deposit. Shockingly poor communication and customer service.

  Air Source + Solar install

  Full Air source install and solar panels by Optama. From the sale through to the install they were fantastic. Very attentive and patient with our needs, which couldn't have been easy. Great install team, Kenny the operations manager was brilliant sorting out all our queries and niggles. Would 100% recommend.
