Alfie from PlumbCare attended my property this week to fix an issue with my hot water supply. This problem was rectified in a timely manner and to a high standard. Alfie explained the problem to me (a little over my head), but I found this very professional of him to explain exactly what the problem was. He was very polite and courteous and respectful of my home, and left the area very clean & tidy. He also left a detailed completion of works form explaining the work he carried out. Ben was brilliant - courteous and professional. He couldn’t fix the issue on the first day due to a replacement part needing to be ordered, but the part arrived super fast and he was back the next day fitting it. Paul rang back on the day I contacted him, asked me to send him some photos. as soon as I did so, he gave my an estimate by return, which I accepted immediately. Plumbcare is not cheap, but neither is their work. This was an insurance claim. I had to get 3 quotes. Plumbcare were not the cheapest but Stuart seemed the most knowledgeable. Ryan and Alfie, were very efficient, pleasant and cleared up after themselves every day including hoovering the carpets. The bathroom looks fantastic now it is finished, much better than I imagined. Shower screen was fitted over the new bath instead of bifold doors as agreed but Paul arranged for them to be changed at no extra charge. Booked an engineer (Stuart) to do annual boiler service with agreed price. Paid for service same day. After he left, I noticed a leak under my boiler. Upon revisit, he told me washer damaged during service and will be replaced without additional cost. Alfie fixed issue and asked where to send the invoice. My wife questioned this- no additional cost was agreed, washer was damaged by them. Next day, Stuart called to say I have to pay. When I questioned him, he said, “Do not call us again” and hung up on me!10 mins later, £188 invoice emailed from Paul that was not agreed. Could probably get the job done cheaper, but not better. Toilet fitting is not a job to skimp on. Communication skills excellent throughout the whole process, from supplying an estimate swiftly to asking permission for a minor modification when I was out for a while on the day itself. I could not give 10/10 for promptness as the engineer was about 45 minutes later arriving than promised, but on the other hand I was phoned to let me know this would happen (around the time due, not in advance) Work appear through and professional and all debris including old toilet removed.Verified reviewerJob location: KT810 Concealed show repair

Alfie did a fantastic job repairing my concealed shower. Only plubcare stated they could fit the new shower without breaking the tiles and were true to their word!
