Ruined my parquet floor by sanding it so much that all the tongue and groove was left too thin and has now snapped and broken. They gave a disclaimer in the quotation stating....."We cannot take responsibility if the sanding process takes Woodblocks down to the tongue and groove".....sounds like a response to a previous complaint. They filled 6 bags of saw dust from sanding the flooring which at the time alarmed me. Additionally uneven sanding marks and dull spots have been left on the floor. Now I know why they were the cheapest quote.

Checking our records, this work was carried out 11 months ago, and the customer has not been in touch with us since we had to chase up payment.
Starting with our disclaimer – A woodblock can only be sanded 4-5 times in its lifetime. On most occasions the client doesn’t know how many times it has been previously sanded and we cannot determine this either, hence the disclaimer.
Our professional machines are ‘set’ to remove the minimum layer of wood from the blocks. With regards to the 6 bags of sawdust, we refurbished a Lounge, Dining Room, Hall and under stairs. 2 of the bags were ‘used sandpaper’ not sawdust. We know this as we record the bags of sandpaper recycled from each job.
If the customer was unhappy with the appearance of the floor, we would have appreciated him contacting us to allow us to see those areas.
