  Plastering a ceiling

  Richard got back to me quickly with any questions I had and asked detailed questions and requested photos on the work I needed doing. His pricing was good. He arrived on time after checking everything was still ok the day before. Good quality work and everything was left clean and tidy. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to friends.

  Skimming of reveals, patching ceilings and general patching

  Initially, Richard was keen, prompt, tidy and did what appeared to be a good job. He then started to do additional items, and all appeared fine. The work itself was fine. Then he let me down the morning he was due to do further work (fine, these things happen, not a problem), and then he completely ignored my messages for nearly three weeks. When he did reply and we rescheduled to do works that were needed (coinciding with other work), he let me down again on the day. Once again he’s reverted to ignoring my messages. On the basis of my experience, sadly I could not recommend this person.

  Had several walls skimmed

  Richard did a great job of the skimming. He was very accommodating around us as we didn’t know exactly which walls we wanted doing so the job changed slightly as it went on. He also got the job done quickly, and gave us advice about how to deal with other areas we weren’t getting skimmed rather than trying to push us to get more done.
