We were concerned that a bird was trapped in the chimney (flapping sounds and falling debris behind our gas fire). Martin attended promptly and used a camera to inspect the chimney. He was then able to retrieve the live pigeon and set it free. Although Martin was unable to carry out the work due to us not having an open chimney he checked everything for me and fed back about the situation. Founded by David Johnson 10 years ago, Safer Chimneys now has two NACS qualified professional chimney sweeps offering traditional sweeping, power sweeping and camera surveys.
David and Martin will always be respectful of your home, making sure they are tidy and efficient as they work. Punctuality is important as we all have tight schedules so they will always aim to arrive with you at the time stated. If they are late for any reason you will be contacted and kept informed.
