  I had excellent service from the Drain Unblocking Company, from the first phonecall to completion of the job. I found both Dave and his colleague friendly, helpful, efficient, and quite obviously trying their best to solve my problem without ripping me off. They both worked hard with a great attitude and for a fair price. I was impressed and would definitely use them again. Thankyou!

• CCTV Drain Survey

  I arranged to have a CCTV survey done for my blocked drain as a condition of my house sale but when the engineer arrived, he was unable to do it as it was a job for United Utilities. However, he clearly explained what I needed to do and offered to write a report if necessary and help if I had any further problems. He had come some distance but didn't charge me at all and asked me to let him know how I got on. I couldn't have asked for better service.

  Dave’s combination of experience, diagnostic skill and appropriate ‘drain kit’ means he can quickly solve what seem like entrenched problems. He picks up what others have missed, and does so courteously and with good humour. He located the issue with CCTV camera, unblocked the drain and replaced a faulty valve– although the form here only lets me select one item.

  I'd been suffering with occasional sewage smells in the house for months. I txted The Drain Unblocking Company and they gave me a quote for unblocking straight away. They arrived the next day, quickly diagnosed the problem (sure enough it was blocked). They jet cleaned the blockage away, removed the cause (some broken brick) and showed me on their cctv setup the clean drain and explained everything I wanted to know about my drains, he was very knowledgeable! It was £180 inc vat for the service, worth every penny!
