  Moving the gas meter

  The Maintenance Guys just saved me £5,000. I had an unusual problem that meant my gas meter needed to be moved. I was advised to use Cadent who wanted to charge £6,000 to move the gas pipe alone and I would have then needed a gas safe engineer to move the meter. I spoke to Jamie at The Maintenance Guys and he was as astonished as I was at this price. He went out of his way to find a solution for me, finding out that his engineers had the qualifications to do the meter move for me, at a fraction of the price, all the while being incredibly nice and understanding. I feel lucky to have found them

  Replacing all radiators with vertical radiators

  These guys replaced our old radiators in no time, right on schedule and were super tidy. We cannot recommend them enough. Jamie answered all our questions promptly, accommodated our deadlines, provided advice and carried out the job with no fuss. We were so impressed that we also approached them for redecorating the property and altering the size of one of the built-in wardrobes and we could not be happier with the result. Reasonable quotes, care and professionalism. Everything was spotless when they left and they are also very polite and friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

  Kitchen/bathroom waste pipe cleaning and unblocking

  Jamie and team were brilliant and did such a good job. Super friendly, arrived promptly, and were highly skilled. Very tidy and explained everything really clearly, and chatted about what the problem might have been. Looking forward to working with them again in the future, would highly recommend!!

  Boiler servicing, power flush, leak investigation and other plumbing repairs

  As a foreigner, I have always found it difficult to find good reliable tradesmen to solve issues in our property. I never contacted the same professional a second time in years. Jamie and his team have shown me what skilled workers really are. Always showing on time, very courteous, taking time to explain how things work, going the extra mile when talking about security (a must when kids are involved) , taking time to listen to the customer find the real problem. Jamie and his team are on my speed dial for everything related to plumbing and they should be on everyone's.

  Great company. Local and friendly. Kevin arrived and located the issue and explained what he was doing. I can’t recommend this company highly enough for their efficiency. I had it resolved in a few fours with an immediate response too.

  Sourcing leak and helping me be recompensed from original plumber who did a bad job

  They managed to find the source of the leak in my bathroom, I’d had it renovated recently and was having problems with my original plumber, who was claiming the water damage was my fault. Jamie and Dave managed to not only find out what the problem was but helped mediate between me and the original plumber to sort him coming back out to fix the problem instead of me having to pay for someone new to repair the damage caused by the leak. He went above and beyond and has saved me a lot of money and stress. I will absolutely be using this company for all plumbing needs in the future! Life savers
