We had a log burning stove installed and it was such a hassle-free process. After surveying the fireplace, we were given recommendations on what size stove to buy for the room, and once we purchased the stove, we were booked in within a week. The installation took only 4 hours and everything was cleaning up and explained in detail afterwards. The stove looks so smart, we gave it a test run and everything worked fine. Absolutely no issues, would definitely recommend.

We have a multi fuel stove that was previously installed by an uncertificated installer. No problem for Dutch of the Old Victorian Chimney Sweep. He quietly went about the task of uninstalling our stove, installing a new flu liner and then reinstalling the stove again with check plate duly sealed. Back up on the roof he fitted a pot cowel to keep the birds out and made generous repairs to the weather damaged cement work around the base of the chimney pot. As promised our Hetas certificate arrived within two weeks. My wife and I couldn’t be happier at the outcome.

Dutch serviced a wood burner stove, fitted a baffle plate and a register plate, sealed and painted the plate to a fantastic standard. He kept the area tidy and gave some really helpful advice on using the stove which was much appreciated. Would definitely hire him again.

We had our Chimney swept this morning by Old Victorian Chimney Sweep. !t was a great service, Will certainly use them again next year.

Had a new wood burner installed which also required additional works to make the space usable. Dutch was very efficient, clean and friendly and the quality of the workmanship was great!
