The item was brought in for repair for a error code ,no functions, which was repaired.I dropped it back as a goodwill gesture at no extra charge ,offered to install but the customer was going out so declined this offer.They did call to say it was having problems reading some discs ,I advised to try some different discs and contact me if they had issues, or drop it back and I would look at it free of charge .
Never heard back for approximately a month to be informed they had taken it elsewhere instead.
Normally I would take a 2nd look at this different fault free of charge and always repair for free or refund if not repairable even though it was different fault to the reported original fault.
285 positive reviews going back to 2007 would indicate I don't leave issues unresolved when given the opportunity.
I asked why they had taken it somewhere else ,they said they hadn't heard from me and had lost faith ,athough I was expecting to hear from them if they required further help ,which did not happen
Possibly crossed wires over who was contacting who, without looking at a item its impossible to help with further issues. Again I would have refunded if I had been given the opportunity to look at the recorder and was unable to completely repair it
