    To move me from Frimley to Hedge End, Southampton

    Your team was amazing! Very polite, tidy and efficient. The loading was done very speedily. The unloading also done very speedily. Everything placed in the correct rooms. Everything has been intact as I've been unpacking. Plenty of packing boxes, paper and tape supplied. The whole experience was seamless and made very easy by Roger and his team. I'd certainly recommend Woodend to anyone I know contemplating moving.

    Home Removal

    The team were very disorganised and items were packed in various boxes, incorrectly labelled and poorly protected. A TV was damaged to an unusable state and neither Woodend nor their insurers were forthcoming in supporting the replacement. Rude remarks were made by the team when they were unaware that we could hear them and although we had paid for 4 men for 2 full days this is not what we received as they were pulled away to do another job. I would not recommend using this company, I feel the service was inadequate, they were unprofessional and overpriced for the poor service we received.

    Response from Woodend Removals

    I have spoken to this client We moved her step Dad and the contract is with him. She made a complaint to me about a member off staff and her broken tv. I apologised re the member off staff and he was warned. He went round and apologised personally. I said re the tv we did not know if this was working prior to the move but to show good will I will pay her from my own pocket. She refused and said she would go through the insurance. She was not happy that the insurance to 3 weeks to pay out. I explained this was nothing to do with us. We were contracted to move them in 2 days nowhere did I say there was 4 men for 2 full days. When the move is complete we leave.

    Moving from 3 bed to 4 bed house

    We used Woodend a few years ago for our move and when we knew we were moving again there was no doubt who we’d use, for me it’s extremely rare to ask a company back a second time. The team were once again incredible, we had a few teething issues on the day, non caused by them but they dealt with them quickly and efficiently with no impact to us. Excellent value for money and nice to have a local company. I can’t recommend Woodend highly enough!

    House move

    I would not hesitate to recommend this firm. Moving is extremely stressful and Woodend did everything they could to keep it simple. Roger kept complete control of the quote and booking process. He was very patient and happy to explain options and process. We moved over 2 days due to distances to be travelled. Ian, Tony and Mark were excellent on the days. They turned up on time, worked really efficiently and took care with our property. They involved us at all times and gave practical advice at the destination. Throughout the move I felt nothing was too much trouble for them. Thanks
