    Consumer unit replacement and EICR report

    Ian (owner) sent someone else for the job who wasn't very proficient in the works including assessment of EICR remedial works. Couple of other electrician firms said the remedial quote was far too high for the work involved (wireless light switches and trunking to light fightings to insert earth wire) and I eventually got it done much cheaper (1/2 the price quoted, with chasing rather than use of wireless switches which I understand can be unreliable over time).

    Chandeliers fitted in three rooms

    Electricians arrived on time. They unboxed, constructed, and then fitted each of the chandeliers. I was working from home and they made a conscious effort to minimise noise and not disturb when I had to be in meetings, etc. Their workmanship was excellent. All three were fitted and tested before they left. They even cleaned up after themselves, which was greatly appreciated. Polite, professional, and no surprises with the invoice. Definitely recommend.

    Gas meter earthing

    Ian from A1 Electricians Ltd was prompt, professional and very honest. We had a note left on our gas meter to check and install earthing. Ian came and checked and confirmed we didn't in fact have an issue so no work was required. I will now be using A1 electricians for any issues we have in the future. Thanks v much.

    Light fittings

    Ian was very responsive to messages, flexible about when he could come to quote, friendly and efficient. He replaced/installed three lights and we are happy with his work. He even offered to come back to replace the outside light with a more powerful one if we wanted. Highly recommended.
