Insulate and plaster interior of a cartlodge
Alastair did an excellent job with insulating and plastering our triple bay cart-lodge. He kept to the start date we had booked in with him. The work was carried out to an excellent standard and he ensured at the end of the day it was left tidy. We have continued to use Alastair for a number of other jobs around are property, as he is very knowledgeable when working period buildings, we have always found him helpful with information and very honest.

Strapping an end of terrace to the rest of the terrace and fitting helifix bars to the neighbours property
This job went far smoother than I was expecting and it’s all thanks to Abercrombie. They communicated with me and planning engineers better than any other firm I have dealt with, the craftsmanship was to an extremely high level, the house was left clean and spotless, the neighbours were dealt with professionally, the work was done quicker than estimated and the price I paid was less than actually quoted. It doesn’t get much better than this and I would most definitely recommend working with Abercrombie

Lime plastering and brickwork
Great work as always. Ali plastered our spare room and hallway - not a simple job in our C16th cottage! Always offers good advice on how to get things prepped.

Internal building and structural work and outside removal of concrete render and re-rendered in lime
First class workmanship,tidy,organised. Alistair had a wealth of knowledge. Nothing was too much trouble. Just got his head down,worked hard and completed on time. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
