Diagnose and clear a non-running sink drain

    Posted 22 January 2023

After clearing the outside grate and attempting to jet the drain to no avail, David's camera discovered an old, collapsed bodge-job on a previous break to the underground pipe. He returned the following day with materials and dug back to good pipe, let in and buried a new section back to the grate, which he also remade. An excellent job at a very reasonable price, he is highly recommended.

    Blocked soil pipe

    Posted 14 November 2022

Initial contact was good and a time agreed to come out and price the job. Came out later than expected and realised that additional help was needed so asked to reschedule for another day. Didnt turn up to the rescheduled job so I called him 2 hours later and he apologised assured me he would come today. GUARANTEED was the actual word he used. Hasnt shown up today or answered either of my phonecalls to find out why. Very poor service indeed. Certainly wont use them again and wouldnt recommend them to anyone.

    Dishonest survey report

    Posted 28 October 2022

Mr Anderson called to inspect our drain. At no time did he say there was a charge for this inspection. I had flushed the system through, he commented how clean it was, but said the joints were failing. Before removing his camera he showed it under backed up dirty water, and quoted £2,200 verbally to replace the pipe. I wrote to ask if a mistake had been made, since our drain was clean. His reply was a survey invoice for £120, plus a quote of £2080 to replace the pipe. However, Wessex water came to inspect their pipe beyond our boundary, and said NOTHING WAS WRONG with our drain!

To replace a drain which partially ran beneath a patio and clear a backlog of sewage.

    Posted 24 July 2022

I cannot praise David and his team highly enough - they were confronted with a disgusting sewage disaster and had to remove path and patio to lay a new drain. They then laid a new patio beautifully. Throughout they worked diligently, kept me informed at all stages, were polite, good humoured, tidy at all times, despite having to work in a very restricted space and were good at suggesting solutions to each of the many problems that arose. It was a pleasure to have them working on the job and I'm hugely grateful.
