We found Jamie via his Checkatrade reviews and liked him even more once we met him. We hired him for a kitchen remodel, but he was so good we had him renovate our entire downstairs too, including full redecoration, tiling, and carpentry - modifying existing cupboards and building new ones. Jamie is a brilliant communicator throughout, always finding creative solutions to problems and working with what we already had to help keep costs down, without ever compromising on quality. Couldn’t recommend him more highly - we will be using him again for the rest of the house when funds allow!

Abode built a large extension to our home, including kitchen and we were delighted with the results. They also created a brilliant patio and outdoor space. They liaised with building control at the end of the project to get it all signed off. Always on time and on budget with great communication and so would highly recommend.

We feel very lucky to have found Jamie when we did as we had been let down by two builders prior to meeting him. It just so happened he had availability and we have not looked back since. We were knocking through to make open plan kitchen diner with bifold doors and bifold windows at the back. Jamie brings the perfect mindset and demeanour to these types of jobs, he doesn’t get stressed or flustered and is able to think creatively and proactively to make your ideas a reality. He is a real pro and you won’t go wrong hiring him.

This is our second major construction project with Abode. Their works is high quality and extremely professional. Always honest, utterly trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. The end product exceeds our expectations.
