Took money. Did not carry out work.
I paid £400 for purchase and fitting of a loft ladder . Which he did not buy and kept making excuses for not turning up. He gave me a receipt with a fake address.

DIDN'T FINISH THE JOB - DO NOT USE
Done some roofing work for my sister and never finished the job. Asked for the payment before completing the work and then made several excuses why he couldn't finish the job before he stopped communicating.

Took money without carrying out work and now won't refund
On 27th March I asked Above & Beyond to carry out some guttering and pointing work, paying a £810 deposit for materials. Over the next month they made and broke more than 15 appointments, sometimes failing to show up on the day with no excuse/warning and then not answering their phone for a few days. Due to needing the work completed urgently I told them on April 21st to refund the £810 deposit and I would use someone else. Since then I have been chasing them weekly to refund me. In this time have had a single payment back of £100. I will now be pursuing them through the small claims court

Everything was on time scaffolding was up and down on time and Dave was very polite and completed everything he said he would do and we agreed.very highly recommend above and beyond roofing.
