Ian completed a fantastic job fitted my beautiful new kitchen and my amazing fitted wardrobes. His communication with me was excellent, very reliable, nothing was too much trouble. Ian cleaned up after himself and was very efficient.

Ian did a fantastic job fitting 3 interior doors, new skirting boards and fitting a false cupboard built around my boiler. With a built-in coffee machine. Highly recommend, thank you.

Did a really good job everything ok

I feel so lucky to have found Ian at ABR Joinery.He answered my call & kindly listened to my dilemma whilst he was busy still working in the evening. Ian offered to come out and look at my problem; the delivery of a new washer couldn’t be installed as they couldn’t get the broken washer out from the tight space in the corner of my kitchen because of the pine cupboards either side. Ian skilfully & with real perseverance got the washer out AND installed, connected & tested the new one. Rare to find a busy, highly skilled craftsman who is prepared to go out of his way to help someone in a fix.

Ian has been excellent for us. From the start he's been communicative, informative, and honest. He worked with us to sort out exactly what we wanted for our new doors, at a reasonable price. For the loft hatch & ladder he managed to find a solution in an awkward space, at a price that beat what we'd previously been quoted by a supposed loft specialist company. Both jobs have provided a huge improvement to our home. We would happily recommend ABR Joinery to anyone.

I have a mixed view of Ian. The quality of his workmanship was in general good, however, found his communication skills lacking as he essentially "did his own thing" without discussing. E.g. he adapted a radiator cover, which was twice the size of the radiator and then asked me if I couldn't just live it it when I complained. Also gave my number to a neighbour, who I'm unfortunately not on good terms with, which he already knew, which led to me being harassed by the said neighbour and having to file a police report. He didn't see the need to apologise for this. Decent joiner but a liability.
