  Prompt and hard working

  Phoned quickly, talked through the options for a challenging water leak on a mains pipe where the flow couldn't be turned off (external stop tap had been tatmacced over!) . Attended promptly, persisted with the issue when another tradesperson had given up and eventually found a solution which kept my property dry until a permanent repair could be carried out. Only complaint is the price he quoted was ex VAT so turned out to be 20% higher. Surely everyone ends up paying the VAT. Minor point and I should have asked I guess.

  Emergency plumber quick and reliable

  Fantastic service from ABW Heating and Electrical. After I accidentally drilled into a hidden water pipe, I needed urgent help and was worried about the damage. The engineer, Hamish, arrived on his own within 45 minutes of my call, quickly identified the problem, opened the wall, and repaired the pipe in less than an hour. He was professional, friendly, and clearly very experienced. The rates were also very reasonable for an emergency call-out. I was extremely happy with the service and would highly recommend ABW Heating and Electrical.

  Very good emergency service

  Came home from holiday on a Saturday evening to find our water meter had sprung a leak. Phoned ABW, and within 45 mins Hamish arrived. He was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, he talked us through the options of how to fix it, and did the work required to address the issue without fuss. Would highly recommend.

  Great service !

  Our bathroom sink was blocked and started leaking into the kitchen ceiling, we rang Hamish in a panic and he came round straight away, diagnosed the problem and fixed all the pipework within an hour and half. Great contractor and very experienced. Highly recommend to anyone! ⭐️

  Emergency leak repair

  I called Hamish on a Sunday evening because a pipe began leaking under a radiator. He provided call out fee information and an estimated time of arrival on the phone and arrived on time, as well as letting me know when he was on his way. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and explained how it had happened. Great experience overall and I would highly recommend.

  Prompt excellent service

  Hot water cylinder ruptured overnight…. typically….during the Easter bank holidays. After posting on Checkatrader Hamish contacted me within the hour. Attended promptly and identified, then ordered, a replacement cylinder. On following days had to install this as well as reinstall new pipe work etc to be compatible. Throughout Hamish was courteous, prompt and his work of the highest standard. I fully recommend him. Mr C North Yorks
