• Supply and install laminated glass to restaurant window

  Prices to supply and install large piece of 8.8 laminated glass to shop front approx 2.4mx3.6m. Turned up on his own with one sucker to lift the glass with. Luckily I had 3 men to help out to lift this heavy piece. I ended up fitting it myself as Gary seemed well out of his depth. He invoiced me for the supply and fit when really should have only invoiced for supply. Made the day very stressful on a difficult job. He was hitting the timber beading in hitting the glass on each stroke then bending the nails over. Looked as though it was his first time.

• Repairing a broken hinge on a bedroom window.

  Fast response to the initial enquiry and the repair. Gary said he would need to come back with a more suitable replacement part, which he did a few weeks later. The window developed a fault again and we had to get Gary back to fix. It took a couple of chasers and weeks, but he was as good as his word and sorted it for no additional charge. Overall, whilst I had to be more pro-active than I'd like, Gary did what he said he would do and in amongst a busy business he's running he sorted us out. I would definitely use Gary again.

  Made an appointment to come round to a measure a window on a Saturday morning. Never turned up. No communication despite confirming the job on email. When we got hold of him on the phone said he was “on another job”. Could have at least rang as we stayed in waiting. Avoid

  I can't rate Gary highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others. He was friendly, efficient and very reasonable. He turned up when he said he would and even came out on a weekend! His work was excellent and I will use him again.
